 ACLS

Upon successful completion of our ACLS courses, the participant will receive an American Heart Association ACLS Provider card. It requires passing a written test with 84% or better and successful demonstration of ACLS skills.

All ACLS programs integrate the AHA 2015 guidelines and algorithms with the most recent science and treatment protocols. Below is a description of each type of ACLS class we offer. ACLS Provider: CE CREDIT:         16 Hrs.            FEE:  $185.00                                                                                                                  
This no stress provider course is a full 2 days and is open to all students: new, expired and renewals. It covers the causes and management of a critically ill patient in cardiac arrest and reviews the identification of ECG's for the common arrhythmias covered in ACLS, Team Dynamics and a skills session with the cardiac arrest learning stations.

ACLS Update/Renewal: CE CREDIT:         8 Hrs.            FEE:  $160.00                                                                                                                  
This class is open to all students: new, expired and renewals. Per AHA regulations, you must pass both the written and skills testing without remediation. This class consists of a review of the new ACLS Guidelines and limited practice for the ACLS skills. You are expercted to be able to identify the ECG for the common arrhythmias such as heart blocks and different atrial tachycardias. It includes a review of the identification of the ECGs for the common arrhythmias covered in ACLS. In order to take this no stress course you must bring current AHA ACLS Card.

ACLS Online with Skills Check - ACLS Provider: CE CREDIT:      16 Hrs.         FEE:  $245.00                                                                                                                  
This course is the American Heart Association ACLS Heartcode that is done online and then followed by a mandatory Skill Check. After successful completion of the online portions you must attend a skill check session bringing your certificate of completion, and be able to demonstrate: BLS skills, identify the ECGs for the common arrhythmias including heart blocks, and function as a team leader in at least two ACLS megacodes. If you are not able to demonstrate these skills without remediation or coaching, you will not receive your AHA ACLS card. You will need to reschedule another skill check and will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee.

BLS

Upon successful completion of any of our BLS courses, the participant will receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider card. It requires passing a written test with 84% or better score and successful demonstration of BLS skills. All students must have an AHA BLS provider manual in class.

BLS for Healthcare Providers: CE CREDIT:         6 Hrs.            FEE:  $75.00                                                                                                                  
This is the American Heart Association CPS course designed for all workers in a healthcare setting. Includes adult, child and infant recognition and management of cardio-pulmonary emergencies and cardiac arrest. You will receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider card upon successful completion of this course..

Basic Life Support Update/Renewal: FEE:  $65.00                                                                                                                  
This American Heart Association course is open to expired and current BLS card holders. You will receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider card upon successful completion of this course.
All Students must have an AHA BLS Provider manual at class.

Basic Life Support Add-on: FEE:  $45.00                                                                                                                  
This American Heart Association course is open to all new, expired and current BLS card holders taking either ACLS, PALS or NRP on the same date and location. It is taught separately from the ACLS, PALS & NRP and requirements as are all BLS programs.
All Students must have an AHA BLS Provider manual at class.

BLS Online with Skill Check: FEE:  $105.00                                                                                                                  
This American Heart Association online BLS course has two parts. The online portion with a certificate that must be presented at the skill check session. This skill check is only available for PC computers.

PALS

Upon successful completion of our PALS courses, the participant will receive an AHA PALS Provider course Completion card. PALS Update/Recert Provider: CE CREDIT:         8 Hrs.            FEE:  $185.00                                                                                                                  
This no stress American Heart Association PALS update/Recert Course is open to all students: new, expired and renewals. It is designed to provide pediatric healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively assess, manage and treat critically ill infants and children and help improve outcome. The PALS course covers: a systemic approach to pediatric assessment, BLS, pediatric emergencies, PALS treatment algorithms and team dynamics to initiate and direct advanced life support in children and infants.

Class begins at 4:00pm

Per AHA regulations, if the student does not have a current AHA card they are not eligible for remediation on either the written or skills exam and thus would need to retake the class and pay a $50 rescheduling fee. If you feel this may be an issue for your, we suggest that you invest the time to study and take the AHA PALS online with skill check. You must have a current AHA PALS provider manual at class.

PALS online with Skill Check: CE CREDIT:         16 Hrs.            FEE:  $220.00                                        
This is the American Heart Association PALS Heartcode with Skill Check. THis course is open to all new, current and expired PALS Students. Unlike the PALS Update/Recert Course, all students who complete the online portion are eligible for remediation on the skills exam. Completion of both portions, online and live skill check, will result in the student receiving an AHA PALS Provider card. The two-part online portion, core and advanced, covers all of the PALS curriculum. After completion of the online portion, the student will attend a Skill Check which will cover all of the mandatory and optional PALS skills.
